Audio Books Department
Our primary business is our book selling department, however, we do not sell traditional hardcover books. RNY sells downloadable audio books as MP3 files that the buyer can download directly to their MP3 players.
Using this method we can offer books for sale that are not currently being published in the traditional paper and ink methodology. By eliminating the costs associated with printing, shipping and distribution of hard covered or soft covered printed books we can give exposure to author’s who under normal circumstances would not have the leverage to bring a book to the public. Our philosophy on book selling is that no one should judge the quality of a book other then the public who buys it. We have heard all of our lives that the shelves in the homes of would be authors contain countless 'Gone with the Wind' and 'War and Peace' level works, but will never be published because the author does not have the knowledge or the intestinal fortitude that is needed to get a book through the traditional book publishing channels.
